#3- Trend from the streets of New York

One of the main trends I have noticed lately are no doubly the sneakers! I mean, sneakers were always something that everyone owned and used whether on a daily basis or for exercising. One thing is for sure, the sneakers culture has gone up tremendously.
It is not just about comfort anymore, it is about a fashionable statement. Almost like 'You are your sneaker'. Nowadays they come in every style imagined to fit one's personality or character.
It reached a point where even high-end fashion brands make sneakers to fit their casual costumers when they come to shop; even Chanel has their own sneakers in their RTW line! definitely an example of the trickle up theory!
Personally, I have a great obsession with black and white sneakers, and I know for a fact that I am not the only one. But with today's variety and endless options of different styles, brands and even customized options- sneakers are one of the trendiest items that everyone owns lately. And in most cases more than one pair..
