First time around actually, but this is the name of the amazing store I found at the Upper West Side the other day. Even though I'm pretty sure I will get to the seventh time around pretty fast. So the concept is very similar to any other thrift, second hand store (which I like very much), but not exactly the same.
The idea is that very rich and wealthy women that has tons of designers clothes, don't use their clothes all the time. Sometimes they even use each outfit once, and then the item stays hanging in their closets. For those girls it doesn't mean a lot but for others it might be a good find, so basically they look for clothes in great condition, only brands of course, two years old maximum so they could stay seasonal, and the things you can find there are unbelievable.
Celine Sandals for $149 or a Manolo Blahnik boots for $269. I also found a Chanel sweater that was $300.
Now, Im not saying this is cheap, it is not, but if you have the money and you are obsessed with designers clothes, this place is a magic palace. I was amazed by the condition of the item and the prices, it is crazy. Imagine buying a pair of Celine sandals that were only worn twice. They probably cost $1500 and here you can get them for just $149 - mind blowing.
So just like you can find designers items online, there is a wide platform of stores that sell only brands in great condition and the prices are worth the visit. I loved it, it was very pleasant to know that sometimes we can all afford that kind of league.
